Can your team of parents overcome social media, distractions, children, and other obstacles to be the first couple to have a happy ending to your romantic night out?

Date night is a couples party game played in teams trying to navigate through headaches, social media drama, out of bed children, and other real life obstacles to arrive in the bed room first and complete date night before the other teams can.  Watch out as the other couples can sabotage you to keep you from winning by playing fake social media posts to put you out of the mood or by other mischievous annoyances to agonize and delay you from getting it on while they attempt to be the first couple to get it on. Bow-chica-wow-wow!

“This game is funny and captures my own memories from being a young parent.  A great game for a few drinks with your friends” – (name witheld)(please drink responsibly).

Product Specifications:

  • 1 Game Board
  • 8 coloured meeples in pairs for the couples
  • 8 smaller meeples for the children
  • 105 Movement/action cards – both in the mood and kill the mood

Each game of date night sees the couples drafting from the main deck to gather movement or item cards.  Play these to move around the board putting the kids to bed or other real life inspired situations.  Couples can trade cards with one another to get what they need to get it on while opponents can steal from you or play kill the mood cards that you will need to overcome before you can successfully do the deed to win.  Each game lasts around 60 to 90 minutes with the winner being the first couple to get it on.

See it demo’d at Gen Con 2019 in the First Exposure Playtest Hall.
